Internet Access

A visitor account has been created for each student participants, excluding local students. The usage of the visitor account is governed by the “NUS Acceptable Use Policy for IT Resource” (AUP). An A4 printout with the user id and password will be distributed at the registration.

Step 1: get connected

  • If you are using a wireless card on the campus, please configure your computer to use “NUSOPEN” network. Alternatively, just connect your computer to a network outlet available.
  • After getting connected, please try to visit any website, for example:, you will be redirected to the computer center at NUS, with the following page displayed:

  • Please click “NUS Visitor Account” and input your user id as well as password to log in. successful login will enable you to surf the internet. Otherwise, please try again and make sure your input is correct.

Step 2: Security

  • You are strongly encouraged to change your password immediately. You may do so at the “NUS Plug and Play login page”.

The Business Centre

For those participants who will not bring their laptops or other internet devices, please visit the Business Center where desktop computers with network connection are provided for free. The Business Center is located in Li Ka Shing Building, by the corridor linking Oei Tiong Ham Building and Student Lounge. Printing machines are also available there.

Please display your Conference ID Card before you enter the Center. When using The Business Centre, kindly ensure that the place is kept clean and furniture is not moved
