GPPN Membership Statement

The Global Public Policy Network (GPPN) is a partnership between a small group of four institutions, namely Columbia University (New York), the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Sciences Po (Paris) and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore (LKY).  The head of each member institution (or her/his nominee) is formally represented on the GPPN Executive Committee, which also includes a senior administrator from each.

The GPPN is presently focused on deepening the collaboration between its four member institutions. In October 2009, the Executive Board will review the development of GPPN activities and events to date and the managerial capacity of its existing members before considering whether to invite additional institutions to join. Potential new members will be assessed on the basis of:

• their links to the Network, including dual/joint degrees with at least 3 members;
• their international standing vis-à-vis existing members in a broad range of policy-oriented disciplines;
• their ability to contribute to each of the five areas listed above;
• their potential to broaden the Network’s impact and influence on a geographical basis;
• the commitment of their top-level management to the Network.
